I’m here to support you

I believe that we are already whole and complete, but that it’s natural and common to feel like we’re broken or something is wrong with us. Oftentimes our environment and circumstances don’t teach us how to understand our emotions, regulate our nervous system, what to do with difficult situations, how to communicate effectively, how to process what has happened to us, or how to be aware of what’s really going on inside of us.

I believe that we all need support and guidance in navigating through life.

I believe that learning how to be aware of our internal and external experiences, and navigating these experiences with self compassion and helpful tools can truly transform our daily lives.

My 1-on-1 sessions are grounded in Trauma resolution, Nervous System regulation, Somatic healing, and Mindfulness. We also explore attachment wounds, triggers, relational work, limiting belief patterns, communication, and much more!

What is somatic work? A body-oriented therapeutic model that helps heal trauma and stress.  The sensations associated with our experiences can become trapped in the body and can be reflected as chronic pain, physical discomfort, dis-ease, and can manifest as addiction, depression, anxiety and more. This approach invites the body and the nervous system to experience safety again.

I’m here to offer a safe and gentle, non-judgemental space for you to arrive as you are. Together, we will explore what your mind and body need in the moment and you will learn tools to understand how to navigate life’s challenges, and how to listen to your inner voice in order to give yourself what you truly need.

The mind and body entity will move toward healing and growth at its own accord, given the right tools, environment, and sense of feeling seen and heard.

Offering 2: Embodied Expansion sessions

Let’s expand your Nervous System’s capacity to be able to hold the experience of Joy, Abundance, Love, Safety, Pride, and more!

You’re probably thinking “of course I’m able to feel those feelings, what is she talking about?”

Well, let me put it this way: we all have a range within which our Nervous System feels comfortable. It’s the space that feels familiar, and therefore we feel safe because there are predictable outcomes, and if there are predictable outcomes, then we experience predictable feelings.

When our reality shifts too far above or too far below this range, we usually can’t stand it, and we do what we need to do in order to return within our range. (This is all happening on an unconscious level by the way).

Let’s use an example. Let’s say that you’re used to getting a certain level of attention (let’s say an attention level of 6 out of 10) from your partner. Let’s say you break up and some time later you’re with a new partner and that partner gives you a lot more attention (a level of 9 out of 10). Because your Nervous System is accustomed to a 6, a 9 will most likely feel overwhelming. You might intellectually understand and believe that you want all this attention, but it doesn’t matter what your conscious mind thinks, your subconscious mind is running the show. And the subconscious’ experience lives in your body and in your NS. What we would do in a session together is expand your capacity to feel safe WHILE holding the new experience of closeness, of intimacy, of attention.

But this doesn’t only apply to something that already exists in your life.

In fact, this work is AMAZING for anything you want to experience but haven’t yet:

making a lot more money (yup, that’s nervous system work),

finding a partner that is aligned (yup, that’s nervous system work),

becoming comfortable with holding boundaries and expressing yourself like a badass (yup, that’s nervous system work),

basically anything you can think of that you desire hasn’t happened yet because you are carrying beliefs that are creating feelings in your body that are sending signals of DANGER to your brain, keeping you in a state of freeze or flight.

Together in these 60 minute sessions, we will EXPAND the feelings that you want to feel MORE of.

The Nervous System is an amazing, adaptive mechanism of survival. When we are able to bring it into a state of safety, calm, and connection, we can make amazing things happen.
